Going to the Dominican Republic!

Hello all...

I have been given the awesome opportunity to go the Dominican Republic for a short term mission trip from January 4-11. The team that is going is made up of Cincinnati Christian University students and faculty. We are going to be working along side the permanent missionaries Rick and Suzanne York. Our team will be doing multiple Vacation Bible Schools, construction work, and general outreach. This is a great chance to share the good news of Jesus Christ to the the downtrodden of the DR.

Please pray for me and the entire team as we prepare physically and spiritually to go to the Dominican. There is a lot of planning that still needs to take place so please pray for guidance as well. Also, pray for Rick and Suzanne as they are already down there obeying the call God has put on their hearts. Pray that their efforts will continue to bear fruit and bring the lost to Christ.

If you can help financially, that would be greatly appreciated as well. The cost of the trip is $1,150.00 a person. This takes care of airfare, supplies for the construction and VBSs, and compensation for the families that will be housing us.
